Stellarly perfect riding day. Noted all the places on S. Quaker Hill Rd. that would be staring right at the Cunningham Lane cell tower if built. Felt good climbing. Thought about various stuff the whole time.

First ride in a couple of weeks after a bout (not yet finished) of work on the house that needs to happen before it gets too cold. Today was a beautiful early fall morning, and we took surprisingly beautiful mid-Westchester roads, e.g. Whippoorwill Rd. Except I added a bunch of miles by mistaking north for south, but it worked out fine. With Dr. P.

Rained on us about as hard as I've ever been rained on riding, and it hit just as we were starting the climb up Pleasant Ridge the hard way. But, once you're wet, you're wet. Stopped at the deli at 216 & 55 for a much needed coffee and corn muffin (and the luxury of standing under an overhang).
